This weekend we got to build a gingerbread house!  We purchased a Wilton kit that already had the gingerbread house frosted together, so all we needed to do was decorate it!  I was so glad we found a kit that had the house already put together, because sometimes that is the hardest part!
Jake did all the frosting on the house and I thought he did a wonderful job!  I love all the cute little icicles he added!  Looking at our finished house, I can see we ate more candy than put candy on the house! hehe
Do you like making gingerbread houses? What are some of your favorite traditions to do during Christmas time?! Thanks for stopping by today! Happy holidays!

Great job on the gingerbread house! It's definitely a good idea to get one that's already put together. Buying a kit is always easier, it guarantees one that looks good! I've tried making one from scratch before and that was a fail. Maybe I'll try again one day, but for now a kit is the way to go!

Your little gingerbread house looks great! 🙂

Making gingerbread houses aren't such a big thing here in Australia – my sister in law tried it once, decorated it beautiful, and then when we went to eat it we realised that the gingerbread pieces she'd bought, while great for building, were not very tasty! Shame as it looked so good!

Hope you have a merry Christmas!

This is just way too cute, Kelsey! Can you believe I've never made a gingerbread house?! Crazy, I know! I want to do one, maybe this year 🙂 I'm also loving your outfit, especially that skirt! I hope you're having a wonderful day so far!

These photos (and the cookies) are too cute! I haven't made a ginger bread house in so long and I'm thinking that needs to change! I'll definitely need a pre-built house as well 🙂

We did a big gingerbread house decorating thing at my parents house last weekend. I think between everyone, we had something like 6-8 houses! I hadn't realized until that day that they even made already put together houses, for decorating. Good idea, for sure! Also, love your skirt!!
