Brick Walls!!!….and a ton of other updates!

October 12: One thing Jake and I really wanted in our home was some brick walls inside to cozy it up! We got a brick wall in our master bed room and in the down stairs family/dinning room area! Ah we are so excited! The man that laid the brick was amazing! The brick is a veneer.  So its old brick cut in slices so it does not have the weight of a full brick on a wall.

Check out these cool corner pieces.  We wanted the brick to go into the window wells to give the look of thick solid brick. So the brick can lay on a corner and have a nice edge and give the window a fake depth with brick!

October 13: It looks so good! I cant wait to see it with grout in it! We had him lay the bricks wider than normal and are going to have them do a semi messy, thick grout! I cant wait to see it all finished!

We got a granite sink. Sink was a weird choice for us. There are so many options but our favorite was the granite sink. No scratch, no show, and the best part is it has a low middle divider so you can wash cookies sheets with ease! That was the selling point for me!
