Horse Ride in the Sonoran Desert

The resort was so helpful and called Cave Creek Outfitters to reserve us spots for horseback riding.  It made it super easy for us so we could have more time to enjoy our vacation, instead of planning out activities to do!  Horseback riding was also a great price at $50 a person for an hour ride! The horses were so kind and were very well trained! Jake’s horses name was Matthew, and my horse’s name was Dolly Parton.

On our horse ride, we rode through the Sonoran Desert.  Jake and I loved seeing all the saguaro cactus!  There were so many with lots of fun arms!  We went on our ride at 8 in the morning so luckily it wasn’t too hot outside!

I have not worn my cowboy boots since I bought them in high school and was glad I got to bust them out again!  Jake was so excited to wear his bandana/scarf!  We had fun pretending we were cowboys! I guess I would of been a cowgirl 🙂
