Viva La Mexico!

Jake and I recently returned from a fun trip visiting Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! We had such a wonderful time relaxing on the beach and eating our weight in guacamole and pico! Jake and I got to stay at the beautiful Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta. It was such a stunning location, we ended up staying on property for our entire trip! It had its own private beach so it felt pretty cozy and fun!

When I was in college I did a study abroad for a few months traveling round Mexico City and surrounding areas. It was so fun being immersed in the culture, eating all the food, and spending lots of time studying the culture! I even got to spend a week living with a family and getting the real experience! Anytime I get to go back to Mexico, it feels like home to me!

One thing I love about Jake is he will always dress up with me! These were our outfits we wore to brunch. The Hyatt Ziva had several restaurants and it was fun to dine at them for breakfast. Our favorite spot was Blaze because it was a little spot next to the water and some cool looking rocks. The food was also pretty tasty too which is always a big plus!

Quote of the Day

“Life is not a one and done sort of deal. You’ve got to work for what you want. Picasso created nearly 100 masterpieces in his lifetime. But what most people don’t know is that he created a total of more then 50,000 works of art. Thats two pieces of art a day. Success is a numbers game. You are not going to win if you keep telling yourself to wait. The more often that you choose courage, the more likely you’ll succeed.” – Mel Robbins
