Fun & Inexpensive Ways To Make Easter Special For Your Little Ones

Easter Fun

This is our first Easter we get to spend with our girls! We are sooo excited about it! Since a lot of community Easter Egg Hunts are off, and Easter Sunday Service as well, today we wanted to share a few ways to make Easter extra special this year. This year is defiantly unique being indoors for the holiday, but doesn’t mean it still can’t be a blast!

Frost Easter Shaped Sugar Cookies

Make some cookies and frost them! It’s always a great way to take up some time and have some fun! Another option would be to call a local bakery and see if they can put together a cookie kit for you! I saw a local bakery doing this and it looked so fun! They had kits already put together of pre-made sugar cookies and it came with sprinkles and frosting! YUM!

Bunny Hop Dance

Dance around the house like bunnies and hop around! If you have any bunny themed clothing, put it on! Nothing like some pretend time and some good music!

Easter Themed Scavenger Hunt

Create a list of Easter items and hide those items around the house. Give the list to your kiddos and have them search for the items!

Glow In The Dark Egg Hunt

My friend Kristyn shared this idea and it sounded so fun! Put glow bracelets inside plastic Easter eggs and hide them around the house. Do a night time egg hunt and look for the glowing eggs!

Dye Easter Eggs

This is always a classic Easter Activity! Have fun teaching your kids how to hard boil eggs and then dye the eggs fun colors! You could even make deviled eggs with the left overs!

Make Bunny Puppets

These are so fun and easy to make! I have a few I made as a kid! I found these instructions that look pretty straight forward and it takes no sewing at all either. If you don’t have all the supplies, I know Michaels is doing curbside pick up right now! If you order online, you can pick up your items the same day! After you done with your puppets, put on a puppet show!

Print Out Easter Pictures And Color

It’s always fun to color! If you go on Pinterest there are so many fun and free Easter themed pictures to color!

Pillowcase Hop Competition

Grab a few spare pillowcases and all hop around like bunnies! You could even do a race, or an Easter obstacle course to go with it!
