Quick & Easy Neighbor Gift Ideas
Anyone else do neighbor gifts?! Last year we moved into a new area right before Christmas. I wanted to make sure we did neighbor gifts for a few neighbors because I really wanted to get to know them! It was a great opportunity for me to go over and meet them and say hello. With it being 2020, I am finding it even more important for me this year to at least drop something off to my neighbors to let them know we care about them. I don’t know about you, but I sure miss being around people, so I know a Christmas Card or neighbor gift can go along way!
With 2 one year olds at home, I am all about quick and easy neighbor gifts! I love baking fresh bread and treats for neighbors, but for me this is not the year to make that happen! hahaha soo… Today I am sharing 15 fun and simple ideas! Most of these ideas, all you need to do is buy the item and put a gift tag on it! Done!

Hot Chocolate
Who doesn’t love some Hot Chocolate in the winter time?!?! Gifting a tin or box of hot chocolate is always a fun and inexpensive gift idea. The past few years at Costco they have had holiday tins of hot chocolate that could work great for that! Here is a link to some free printables to go with hot chocolate. Hot chocolate is always a great item to have on hand.
Popcorn Box
Just “popped” on by to wish you a very merry Christmas anyone?!?!? We had a neighbor bring over a box of popcorn one year with this saying on it. I thought it was genius! You could also do this same saying with soda pop. Here is a link to a free printable for popcorn neighbor gifts.
Soap/ Dish Soap
For the past few years I have done a Bath & Body Works Christmas scent hand soap. This year I am super obsessed with Mrs Meyers products, so I got Iowa Pine dish soap for all my neighbors! Sparkling Cider
Who doesn’t love some sparkling cider?! This time of year sparkling cider always hits the spot! This could also be a fun gift to do for New Years to!

On Black Friday you can find games for awesome prices! Card games, board games, or something fun that the entire family can enjoy! This is a gift that can last all year! I have found on Walmart and Amazon great deals on games!
Pineapple
Aloha Christmas! Looking for a healthy option to give your neighbors?! A fresh yummy pineapple is a great option! We have had a few neighbors who have had their family photo on a beach or somewhere tropical and gave away pineapples with their Christmas card. That was super cute! Salsa Jar & Chips
Anyone else love salsa and chips?!?! This is sure to be a crowd pleaser! I grew up in Arizona and this was a common neighbor gift we got. I remember sitting with my sisters chowing down on chips and salsa someone brought over, hoping someone else would bring over some more! hahaha Oh so yummy! Here is a free salsa printable gift tag.

Support a local bakery and pick up some fresh loaves of bread for your neighbors! Usually this time of year, families are gathering together and the gift of fresh bread is always a great option!

At Trader Joes in November they put fun advent calendars filled with chocolate. They are only $1, big and perfect for a fun neighbor gift! I have also seen giant ginger bread people kits that could be super fun! Michaels also has the advent calendars but $2.99 each.
Spice/ Seasoning
Ready to spice up your holiday gifts?! My sister did seasoning a few years ago for her neighbor gifts and got such a good reaction from them, she has done spices ever since. She likes to make her own mix “everything seasoning” but Traders Joes Everything But The Bagel Seasoning or Lemon Pepper seasoning would be awesome options!
Notepad & Pen
Anyone else love notepads and pens?! Every season at the dollar section at Target they have fun festive notepads for $1. This is a great gift that will defiantly get used!
Chex Mix

Stove Top Poppouri Kit
Out of all the ideas, this one is going to be the most work, but not to much! We have had a few neighbors give us potpourri kits and I have really enjoyed it! It’s nice to have everything in a little baggy or jar. Here is a recipe for easy stove top potpourri for the holidays.
Cookie Mix/Oven Mitt
Everyone could always use a cookie mix bag on hand! A cookie mix and oven mitt are a super fun gift! I found these oven mitts online for 88 cents!

November 11, 2022I live in Baltimore and we LOVE our Old Bay Seasoning. I found cans of peanuts seasoned with Old Bay and have been giving them out for the past couple years. They’re only about $5 a can so they’re super affordable. One neighbor gave us seasoned roasted chick peas last year. Yum! Thanks for these tips!!
