10 Month Old
Wowwwie! 10 months old?!!!! Where has the time gone?!?! I can’t believe my baby girls are officially 10 months old now! What an adventure it has been with these two cuties! They are the sweetest and such a blast! I feel so lucky and grateful to be these girls mama. Since the girls just turned 10 months old I thought it would be fun to do a little update on them!
Teething
Talk about drool!!! These two have been teething like crazy! Scout has 3 teeth, Davey has 6. They both are so drooly, but loving their new teeth! Scout is constantly touching her teeth with her pointer finger and loves the feel of them. Both girls love chewing on teethers when they are not crawling around. We found the teething binky clips have been a life savor these days! Even though Scout is not a fan of a binky, she likes the wooden beads and will chew on that!

Naps
The girls have a pretty good nap schedule going these days. They typically take a 1 hour nap in the morning and a 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon. Sometimes the girls afternoon nap is not at the same time…. but thats ok! I actually like when the girls schedule is a little staggered so I can have one on one time with each of them.
Night Time Sleeping
Jake and I are so grateful these girls are such great sleepers at night! Typically the girls go to bed around 7 pm and wake up around 7-8am. A lot have asked if we did sleep training or anything like that, you can read all about what we did here.
First Words
A baby talking… it doesn’t get much cuter than that!! These 2 are little chatter boxes and starting to form some words. Daveys first word was Mama and Scouts first word was Dada.
Milk Feedings
Milk (formula) is still 90% of the girls diet. They typically drink 20-35 ounces a day each. Somedays they are more hungry than others, and somedays they eat a ton of solids and less milk. Typically they have about 5-6 bottle feedings each a day.
Eating Solids
Starting solids with my girls has been so much fun! These two have become such great eaters! It’s been fun trying new foods with them and mixing up meals. Some of their favorite foods are shredded cheese, cucumbers, greek yogurt, pinto beans, and bananas. We try to do 3 sit down meals a day. Sometimes it ends up being 2 depending on what we have going on (if thats the case I love the squeeze pouches for a quick meal on the go!) With our girls we have been doing Baby Led Weaning (BLW). I love it because the girls eat whatever Jake and I are eating. It makes it really easy at meal times so we can all eat together as a family.

Diapers
I wanted to share something with you a friend shared with me that I wish I would of known sooner! She told me the Kirkland (Costco brand) diapers were just like the Huggies diapers (which we LOVE). We have used Huggies diapers for our girls and just switched to the Kirkland brand. I have to say the Kirkland brand have really held up! These two are pooping 2-4 times a day too so thats saying something! For a big box of diapers its only $35 and the Huggies box is $45. Just wanted to share because learning about those diapers have been a game changer for our wallet.
Play Time
Our days are full of lots of play time! Creating baby obstacle courses, hanging outside, going on walks, climbing, crawling, playing the piano, reading, and listening to music! We try to mix it up with our girls by switching rooms and rotating toys.
It’s amazing to me how 10 months hit and my babies are starting to feel like big girls now. The way they sit, and just move from sitting to standing. They are getting so strong and moving so fast!
